Travis Scott was arrested early Thursday in Miami after allegedly acting erratically during an argument at a marina near Miami Beach.

The 33-year-old “goosebumps” rapper, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, was charged with trespassing and disorderly intoxication. According to arrest reports obtained by NBC Miami, police say Scott stood on a dock, yelling at occupants of a yacht.

The complainant wanted Scott removed from the area but did not wish to press charges. Despite being warned he would be arrested if he didn’t leave, Scott initially complied but soon returned, walking backward and yelling obscenities at the yacht’s occupants.

After briefly leaving the marina in a car, Scott returned, causing a public disturbance that affected both the marina and nearby buildings, according to authorities. He was then arrested.

Scott posted bond, amounting to $500 for trespassing and $150 for disorderly intoxication, as reported by NBC Miami. Following the incident, the “SICKO MODE” artist tweeted “Lol” at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, a tweet interpreted as a reference to the event.

This arrest comes just over a week before the start of his European “Circus Maximus” tour in the Netherlands and nearly a month after a physical altercation with Alexander “AE” Edwards at a Cannes afterparty. No one was seriously injured in that fight.

Scott’s most infamous controversy remains the 2021 Astroworld tragedy, which resulted in 10 deaths ranging from 9 to 27 years old. Last year, a Texas grand jury decided that Scott would not face criminal charges for the deadly crowd surge. The final wrongful death lawsuit related to Astroworld was settled last month, coinciding with Scott’s brawl with Edwards.
