Pittsburgh Steelers star claps back at Ravens star linebacker after playoff loss: ‘I saved the jet for ya
After the Pittsburgh Steelers’ season ended with a loss to the Baltimore Ravens last week, the Ravens now find themselves in a similar situation. Patrick Queen, a former Ravens linebacker who now plays for the Steelers, drew some criticism from his former teammate Roquan Smith, who joked that they had sent Queen to Cabo.
“I remember my guy PQ saying the last time we played them was [for] a hat and T-shirt,” Smith said. “But I guess he [got] the T-shirt he’s wearing now, and he’ll be in Cabo or somewhere.”
Queen responded on X (formerly Twitter) following the Ravens’ 27-25 loss to the Buffalo Bills, saying he had “saved the jet” for Smith to join him in Cabo after the defeat.
In his first season with the Steelers, Queen had an up-and-down year, with some positive moments but also struggles with eye discipline and processing. It wasn’t the season the Steelers had hoped for, but Queen will return in 2025 as a key part of the defense. He’ll need to bounce back, especially as he enters the second year of his three-year deal.
