Hollywood is about to witness a fresh new pair on screen that might give the audience their new favorite! Deacon Phillippe, the son of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, is in talks to make his feature-length film debut alongside Liam Neeson.

On August 30, Deadline reported that Deacon might join a new heist film alongside Liam Neeson titled *4 Kids Walk into a Bank*. Exciting, right? According to the outlet, the movie will also star Talia Ryder, Noah Jupe, Whitney Peak, and Jack Dylan Grazer.

The film is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Matthew Rosenberg and Tyler Boss and will be directed by Frankie Shaw as a “dark heist comedy.”

According to a synopsis from Deadline, Neeson will portray ex-bank robber Danny, whose teenage granddaughter Paige (played by Ryder) is the most important person in his life. When Paige overhears that his old gang is trying to pull him back in for one last job to settle a debt, she comes up with a plan: she recruits her three closest friends to rob the bank the day before, so he won’t have to.

This isn’t Deacon’s first experience in the industry.

Last year, the college student announced the release of his debut album, *A New Earth*. The 12-track album was released in April 2023, during Deacon’s first year studying music at New York University. Additionally, his mother was supportive of her son exploring a career in acting.

Series creator Mindy Kaling previously told *Entertainment Tonight* about Deacon Phillippe: “He’s incredibly talented, obviously very handsome, but he’s also a kid who’s grown up with two very successful actors and still wanted to learn.”

In addition to his debut film and the upcoming project, Netflix announced in July 2022 that Deacon would join the third season of *Never Have I Ever*, where he played Parker, a member of lead character Devi Vishwakumar’s (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) rival debate team.

What are your thoughts on Deacon and Liam Neeson teaming up on screen? Do you think they’ll make a lasting impression, or will it just be too much hotness for the audience to handle in one frame? Let us know!
