Texas Longhorns QB Quinn Ewers playfully teases Arch Manning in a new Dr Pepper commercial.
Last week, it was revealed that Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers will be featured in this season’s ‘Fansville’ commercial series for Dr Pepper.
‘Fansville,’ a satirical drama series created by the Plano, TX-based soda company, is set in a fictional college town and is now in its seventh season. Ewers will portray Deputy Quinn Ewers, starring alongside Oklahoma Sooners legend Brian Bosworth, who plays the town’s Sheriff.
To mark the announcement, Dr Pepper released the first two episodes of the series. In the first episode, Ewers introduces himself to the audience, saying, “I’m a new character.”
The third episode, now released, prominently features Ewers. In it, Sheriff Bosworth instructs Deputy Ewers to call for backup, but Ewers repeatedly insists he doesn’t need it, “… even if he has great hair and famous relatives.”
