EF Education–EasyPost has unveiled its roster for the 2025 cycling season, featuring a blend of seasoned professionals and promising young talent. The team has made strategic signings and contract renewals to strengthen its lineup across various disciplines.

New Signings

The team has bolstered its ranks with seven new riders:

  • Vincenzo Albanese: The Italian rider joins from Arkéa-B&B Hotels, bringing his sprinting prowess and classics experience to the squad.

  • Kasper Asgreen: Hailing from Denmark, Asgreen transitions from Soudal Quick-Step, known for his time-trialing skills and classics performances.

  • Samuele Battistella: An Italian talent formerly with Astana Qazaqstan Team, Battistella adds depth to the team’s stage racing capabilities.

  • Alex Baudin: The young Frenchman arrives from Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Team, expected to strengthen the team’s climbing contingent.

  • Alastair MacKellar: An emerging Australian rider who was a stagiaire with Team Jayco AlUla, MacKellar is anticipated to develop further in the WorldTour environment.

  • Madis Mihkels: The Estonian cyclist joins from Intermarché-Wanty, bringing versatility and potential in various terrains.

  • Max Walker: From Astana Qazaqstan Development Team, the British rider is set to enhance the team’s future prospects with his all-rounder abilities.

These new additions were introduced during the team’s initial training camp, where they integrated with existing members and support staff.

Contract Renewals

To maintain continuity and leverage experience, EF Education–EasyPost has extended contracts with three key riders:

  • Alexander Cepeda: The Ecuadorian climber continues with the team, aiming to build on his previous successes.

  • Esteban Chaves: The Colombian veteran brings leadership and a wealth of experience in grand tours and one-day races.

  • James Shaw: The British rider remains with the squad, contributing his strengths in various race scenarios.

These extensions complete the team’s 29-rider roster for the upcoming season.

Departures

Several riders have departed from the team, including:

  • Stefan De Bod: Moved to Terengganu Cycling Team.

  • Lachlan David Morton: Left the team; current team unspecified.

  • Andrea Piccolo: Departed on June 21; current team unspecified.

  • Jonas Rutsch: Joined Intermarché-Wanty.
