BREAKING NEWS: John Harbaugh Said Lamar Jackson Is…

John Harbaugh’s reaction on the sideline to Lamar Jackson dominating the Steelers is flawless.

One might assume that John Harbaugh would be unfazed by anything Lamar Jackson does at this point, given he’s had a front-row seat to his quarterback’s remarkable performances. However, a mic’d-up clip of Harbaugh watching Jackson throw a touchdown shows that’s not the case.

After Jackson scrambled and appeared on the verge of either taking a sack or gaining minimal yards, the soon-to-be three-time MVP turned the situation into a touchdown pass, extending Baltimore’s lead over the Steelers in the wild-card round.

Harbaugh, visibly amazed on the sideline, was seen urging Jackson to throw the ball away. But when Jackson pulled off yet another stunning play, all Harbaugh could do was shake his head and mutter “Unbelievable” three times. After taking a moment to process what he had just witnessed, Harbaugh added, “I’ve never seen anything like that. I’m like, ‘throw it away, throw it away, throw it away.'”

Harbaugh’s reaction mirrors that of Ravens fans watching at home, who likely shared the same anxiety as Jackson worked his magic. While fans may have been urging Jackson to throw the ball away and avoid a worse outcome, the quarterback did what he does best—turning nothing into something—and fans were left both relieved and astonished.

At this point, it’s hard to imagine anyone being shocked by what Jackson can do on the field, but moments like this remind us why he’s won two MVPs and is aiming for a third.

Here’s hoping we see another one of these jaw-dropping plays in the upcoming AFC Divisional Round against the Bills. It would be even more thrilling if Jackson pulled off something similar in the final seconds to secure a victory and another trip to the AFC Championship Game.
