Nottingham Forest are next in action when the team travels to Wolves on Monday night looking to claim a sixth successive victory.

Forest have been riding the crest of a wave just lately and despite a tough run of fixtures, the Reds won all but one of their games in December.

Nuno Espirito Santo has earned praise from Jamie Redknapp among others this season and he’s busy changing the perception of Forest during 2024/25.

Gary Lineker has already changed his mind on Forest this season after predicting the team to be relegated before a ball was kicked back in August.

Forest defeated Everton last time out with the 2-0 win pushing the team up to second for a brief period before Arsenal beat Brentford on New Year’s Day.

The win over Everton was all the more impressive given that Hudson-Odoi didn’t even travel to Merseyside for the game against the Toffees.

He picked up a dead leg against Tottenham on Boxing Day and was deemed unfit to take a place in the matchday squad against Everton.

Furthermore, Murillo hobbled out of the warm-up and was replaced by Ramon Sosa in the starting eleven, with Espirito Santo switching to a four-man defensive unit.
