Joel Klatt describes Deion Sanders’ rebuild at Colorado as an “undeniable success.”

Two years after a dismal one-win season, the Colorado Buffaloes have turned things around with a 6-2 record under head coach Deion Sanders, who has silenced his critics and delivered for his supporters this season.

Coach Prime’s Buffs have shown significant improvement on both offense and defense, drawing attention from national analysts. In a recent episode of “The Joel Klatt Show: A College Football Podcast,” Fox Sports analyst and former Colorado quarterback Joel Klatt shared his thoughts on the team’s success.

“Deion Sanders was hired, brought his son Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, and made bold claims about using the transfer portal. He’s completely rebuilt the program,” Klatt said. “Deion Sanders has been an undeniable success, a home run. There’s no other way to put it. Anyone who criticized him for his style now has to watch as his team plays tough at the line of scrimmage, improves the offensive line, runs the ball effectively, and protects the ball. Now, they’re sitting at 6-2.”

Klatt later addressed those who questioned Sanders’ coaching abilities.

“Where are all of you now who thought Deion was a joke?” Klatt remarked. “Where are all of you who believed he was only in it for himself? This man can coach, and I’m glad he’s proving it at Colorado.”

Following their bye week, Colorado will face Texas Tech in Lubbock on Nov. 9 (time and TV details to be announced).
