Bruins Reveal Roster for Preseason Finale; Brad Marchand Makes His Return
The Bruins have revealed their roster for the preseason finale against the Washington Capitals.
Brad Marchand will return to the lineup after leaving Tuesday’s win against the Flyers due to illness, showing some improvement in practice this week.
Johnny Beecher, Morgan Geekie, and Mark Kastelic will also suit up on Saturday. Head coach Jim Montgomery is eager to get another look at Max Jones, who he thinks has the potential to become a fan favorite.
Fabian Lysell will have another opportunity to make an impression on the coaching staff, as the Bruins plan to dress 14 forwards for the game.
Mason Lohrei and Andrew Peeke are expected to make the Opening Night roster, while players like Parker Wotherspoon and Jackson Edward will also be looking to make an impact. The Bruins will have three goaltenders suited up, including Brandon Bussi, who could serve as the backup to Joonas Korpisalo in next Tuesday’s game against the Florida Panthers. Although Boston recently claimed Jiri Patera off waivers from the Vancouver Canucks, he won’t be in action on Saturday.
Here’s the lineup for Saturday’s game:
