Kate Martin, once a standout for the Iowa Hawkeyes and now a guard for the Las Vegas Aces, is enjoying life these days.
The former teammate of Caitlin Clark was an unexpected selection late in the 2024 WNBA Draft, but she has since demonstrated that the Aces made a wise choice. The 24-year-old guard is currently averaging 2.7 points and 1.6 assists per game for the Aces, who are aiming to compete for another WNBA championship.
Martin is living well off the court, too.
Earlier this year, her rumored girlfriend went viral. Kate and her girlfriend, whom she reportedly met at Iowa, appeared to publicly confirm their relationship on social media.
Claire Gransee, the significant other of the talented WNBA rookie, shared a jaw-dropping swimsuit photo to her social media feed earlier this week.
She’s looking pretty great.
“i’ll be here!” she wrote.
Martin joked: “You’re so artsy fartsy.”
Kate and Claire have been together for at least a couple of months now, possibly even longer.
As the 2024 WNBA regular season approaches its final stretch with the playoffs on the horizon, it’s possible that we’ll see Claire cheering for Kate at a WNBA playoff game in the coming weeks.
