The Coach Whisperer DENIES involvement in the Brisbane Broncos’ disappointing NRL season, stating, “If I were working with Kevin, the Broncos would be in the top 2.”

A renowned mentor known as the ‘Coach Whisperer,’ who has guided some of Australia’s top sporting teams to success, has distanced himself from the Brisbane Broncos, denying any involvement in their 2024 downfall.

Bradley Stubbs, who has worked with elite coaches across various football codes, including Kevin Walters, Sydney Roosters coach Trent Robinson, NSW mentor Michael Maguire, Socceroos boss Graham Arnold, and three-time premiership-winning Richmond coach Damien Hardwick, made it clear he had no part in the Broncos’ recent struggles.

Stubbs previously advised Walters during his time as Queensland coach in the 2019 State of Origin series, where the underdog Maroons adopted a confident “expect to win” mindset. However, despite their self-assurance, the Maroons lost the series to New South Wales 2-1.

Those lessons seem to have resonated with Broncos coach Kevin Walters, who confidently told reporters this week that there was no doubt his team would beat the Dolphins and qualify for the NRL finals.

“There is no if here, we’re going to make the finals,” Walters asserted.
