Road to Glory: The Journey to Becoming the Next Great Arkansas Running Back

All Razorbacks has more

If you’re a college football fan and also enjoy gaming on PlayStation or Xbox, you’re likely already aware of the new College Football 25 video game released last Monday. Even if you missed the initial release, you probably know about it if you’re a loyal member of the All Razorbacks family and follow our content regularly. By the way, we greatly appreciate your support!

There are several important game modes I’d recommend for each player, and if you’re a Razorbacks fan, you know that one of the positions Arkansas has consistently excelled at over the years is the running back position. It’s a storied position in Fayetteville.

In the Road To Glory mode, you can create your own player and place him on any college team, including the Arkansas Razorbacks. You can position him as a running back, which is the next role I’m focusing on after covering the quarterback position and offering tips for becoming a starter in the game.

There are four starting options for your player: five-star, four-star, three-star, or two-star. A five-star player starts at a rating of 79, a four-star at 75, a three-star at 67, and a two-star at 60.

If you’re familiar with the Razorbacks’ running back lineup, you’ll know they recently lost their standout running back, Raheim “Rocket” Sanders, who transferred to South Carolina. To fill the gap, they brought in Ja’Quinden Jackson. While Jackson is talented, he serves as a temporary fix for the significant loss.

So, who steps up after Jackson? That could be you. I recommend choosing the four-star option, as it positions you to be the backup to Jackson initially and then the starter once he leaves. You’ll need to earn that spot, but it shouldn’t be too difficult as you’ll progress throughout the season without the heavy burden of carrying the team. If you don’t take many reps, you can also opt for a redshirt year, which is beneficial if you want to maximize your playing time over your college career.
