Arkansas basketball extends an offer to a top in-state prospect for the class of 2025.
On Monday night, John Calipari and the Razorbacks extended an offer to the top-ranked player in Arkansas for the 2025 recruiting class.
On Monday evening, John Calipari and Arkansas basketball extended another scholarship offer for the 2025 recruiting class. Isaiah Sealy, the top-rated player in the state, announced the offer on his X (formerly Twitter) account after a brief conversation with Calipari.
The Springdale native is currently rated as a four-star recruit and the No. 60 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the latest 247Sports recruiting ratings.
He is also ranked as the 13th-best combo guard and the No. 1 overall player in the state for this recruiting cycle. This is technically the second time Arkansas has offered him, as the previous coaching staff extended an offer in May of last year.
This week is particularly busy for Calipari and the Razorbacks. Last Wednesday night, the new head coach traveled to Las Vegas to watch some of his former players in the Team USA/Canada Showcase before heading out on the recruiting trail to attend three major grassroots events.
Over the weekend, Calipari visited the Puma U16 tournament in Phoenix and the Adidas 3SSB tournament in Rock Hill, S.C., before spending time at the Nike EYBL Peach Jam in North Augusta, S.C., ahead of the evaluation period’s conclusion on Sunday night.
Sealy is currently participating in the Nike EYBL Peach Jam, playing for one of the top U17 teams, Team Thad.
He is teammates with fellow Arkansas native and 2025 Razorback recruiting target Courtland Muldrew, who also received a scholarship offer from Calipari and the Razorbacks last week.
Team Thad also features top 15 recruit Jasper Johnson and four-star center Jamarion Davis-Fleming, attracting significant attention to the grassroots team. Shortly before announcing his Arkansas offer, Sealy posted an impressive stat line of 17 points, eight rebounds, and four assists, leading his team to a notable win over Alabama Fusion on Sunday morning.
Arkansas is now among the increasing number of schools pursuing Sealy. The 6-foot-5, 194-pound guard currently holds offers from nine other schools, including Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Missouri, Mississippi State, Louisville, and Virginia Tech, among others.
