Aliyah Boston Named WNBA All-Star for Second Straight Year
Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark, and Kelsey Mitchell will represent the Indiana Fever in the July 20th All-Star Game against the USA Women’s National Team.
Indiana Fever center Aliyah Boston has been selected to play in the WNBA All-Star game this month for the second consecutive year.
On July 20, Boston, along with fellow Fever players Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell, will join the All-Star team to face the USA Basketball Women’s National team.
This marks the second time that three Fever players have been chosen for the All-Star game in franchise history, the first being in 2007.
“God is amazing!” Boston posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, after the announcement. “So blessed to be a 2x all star!”
Boston has had a strong 2024 season so far, averaging 13.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game. She has played an average of 30.2 minutes per game for the Fever and has started in every game this season. Boston’s All-Star selection follows her being named WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week for June 10-16, her second time receiving this honor.
Following the announcement, Boston expressed her gratitude to Fever fans for their support.
