ARLINGTON, TEXAS (June 20, 2024) – The UFL announced that Jaryd Jones-Smith, offensive tackle for the St. Louis Battlehawks, has signed a contract with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons.

Jones-Smith, who was voted All-UFL at offensive tackle, started all 11 games at left tackle for the Battlehawks and was ranked the top player at his position in Weeks 6 and 8 by Pro Football Focus.

Hailing from Camden, New Jersey, Jones-Smith returned for a second season with the Battlehawks after starting eight games and earning All-XFL honors in 2023.

The St. Louis Battlehawks will retain Jones-Smith’s rights if he returns to the UFL.
