Michael Wall and Tracy Deforge have resigned from the Board of Directors of USA Team Handball. Patrick Jalabert will serve as the interim chair.

USA Team Handball announced today the resignations of Michael Wall and Tracy Deforge from the Board of Directors. Wall, who has served as USA Team Handball President and Chair since 2019, and Deforge, an Independent Director, will step down effective immediately.

USA Team Handball expresses its appreciation to Michael Wall and Tracy Deforge for their dedicated service and contributions over the past five years, which have significantly advanced the sport of handball in the United States.

Following their departures, the Board of Directors has appointed Patrick Jalabert as Interim Chair. Jalabert, currently a General Membership Director and president of Chicago Inter Handball, brings extensive experience in the sport and will oversee the organization during this transitional period.

USA Team Handball will commence the process of filling the two vacant Independent Director positions on the Board of Directors. Further updates will follow in due course.
